AGPA Connect 2023

Craig is proud to be presenting again this year at the American Group Psychotherapy Association’s annual conference. AGPA Connect, which is the premiere professional conference for group therapists internationally, will meet at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel and online March 6-11. This year’s plenary speakers include Renee Lentzman, Vamik Volkan, Ronald Hopson & Ronnie Levine.

Craig will co-present two training experiences this year.

On Tuesday March 7th and Wednesday March 8th, he will co-facilitate a two-day Institute with David Dumais called Reconnecting Masculinity: Reworking the Terms of Manhood. This experiential process group, in its third year, is an affinity group for all male-identified therapists who would like to examine their personal development of masculinity and focus on replacing disconnection ‎with safe forms of male intimacy.

On Saturday March 11th, Craig will co-present a workshop with Dr. Aziza Belcher Platt entitled Shame and Pain: Addressing the Sticking and Breaking Points That Inhibit the ‎Anti-Racist Practice We Proclaim. In this space, providers with a foundational understanding of white supremacy, racism, and ‎appreciation for lifelong anti-racism practice will collectively identify and dissect internal and external sticking/breaking points and ‎practice resolution strategies to advance and deepen their clinical and professional practice.‎
